The Economics of Three Mountain Foundation
Three Mountain Canada is a not-for-profit organization with no paid staff. It is run by dedicated volunteers who have seen how this process brings new life to people. The volunteers do the shopping, cook the meals and take care of the house and garden for retreats. Meals are fully catered so that new participants can rest into their process of self-discovery.
Accommodations are simple, generally shared. Thanks to volunteers and innovative budgeting we manage to keep the cost of our retreats down to approximately $60 (Cdn.) per day, per person to cover accommodation and meals. This is the only formal charge asked of participants.
Any contribution beyond the $60 per day for basic costs is voluntary and participants are not badgered to donate.
Financial support to Lynne's work comes solely from those people who have seen the benefit. Lynne serves life without putting upon anyone the condition of remuneration. To understand the depth of her faith in this process, one has to be a close part of her life. We have seen her challenged again and again..."Why do you refuse to charge for your work?"
I want people to make conscious choices. I know my work is valuable. I see the healing, the strengthening. But people are new to this. They have to experience it in themselves and then choose, with full awareness, what to nurture, what to support and uphold.
